A Scottish Experience
When I first came to Glasgow, I was as lost as the tv host in the video whenever I chat with the locals. But, after eight months living with the Glasweigians, I can proudly say that I understood 95% of the interview. Mana lagi 5%? Losses due to extremely short concentration span.

![]() You focus on living a quality life. You're not easily impressed with novelty. Yet, you easily impress others. |
Then I also did this one. What kind of pet am I?
| You Would Be a Pet Cat |
![]() And as for other people, you can take them or leave them. You often don't care. You live your life by your own rules. And you have deep motivations that no one truly understands. Why you would make a great pet: You're not needy or greedy... unlike other four legged friends. Why you would make a bad pet: You're not exactly running down to greet people at the door What you would love about being a cat: Agility and freedom What you would hate about being a cat: Being treated like a dog by clueless humans. |
And this one..What's inside the room of my soul?
| What Your Soul Really Looks Like |
![]() You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds. You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you. Your near future is a lot like the present, and as far as you're concerned, that's a very good thing. For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust. |
I now also know what kind of flower I am. Surprise..surprise. What a coincidence.
| You Are A Lily |
![]() People see you as their rock. And they are able to depend on you. You are a soothing influence. You can make people feel better with a few words. Your caring has more of an impact than even you realize. |

Isle of Arran
We bought an all inclusive ticket from Glasgow to Brodick Castle on Isle of Arran for only £15.30 day return. It was one of the Great Days Out of Glasgow offer. The ticket includes train ticket from Glasgow Central Station to Ardrossan Harbour. Then a ferry ticket from Ardrossan Harbour to Brodick, Isle of Arran and the open roofed top bus from the jetty to the castle. But apparently, they printed the wrong tickets for us and the one we had do not cover the bus but they let us ride it for free anyways. ;-)
The island really represents the countryside of Scotland. So beautiful. I am sure it is more beautiful on a sunny day.
They have Arran brewery too with free wine tasting but we didnt go there. We did go to Arran Aromatics (local made skincare and candles) and lepak at the Brodick town.
In Brodick town sempat main 18 holes putting game..hahaha my first experience. Wanted to go kayaking too but there was no time. More photos can be found at my fotopage (in progress).
