Just because you know my name does not make you my friend. An acquaintance perhaps but not my friend. I wonder how many of my friends actually know me at all. Try answering these simple questions:
what is my favourite colour?
what is my favourite ice cream?
what is my favourite flower?
But kind to think of it, I myself cannot answer those questions for most of the friends i know. I am equally bad or even worse for questioning their friendships.
Maybe you dont need to know everything about your friend in order to be a good friend. As long as you are there for them when they need you and not forget them simply because you have something great going on in your life that does not really involve them, for me, that entitles you to a good friend badge.
