I bought one. Signed the S&P early last month. It is not completed yet, however. Still awaiting CF. If everything goes well, I will be getting my keys end of this month or next month. So, hopefully can move in by July (one year ahead of schedule). I am so excited! Been looking for wallpapers, floorboards, sofas, flat screen tvs and the list goes on and on. Of course, Fairuz terpaksa rela temankan and be the loyal driver. Hehe.. thanks. Still have not checked out lightings and fan though. By the time the apartment is furnished, I will be so broke.
The apartment was quite expensive for an apartment. But, I guess it is the additional cost that you have to bear when buying a property developed by a big company. The name of the apartment is Avilla Apartment. It is 1033 sqft, a corner lot. Developer is IOI and it is located in Puchong Jaya. It comes with kitchen cabinet and astro points. Yeay!
Talking about purchasing a property, it was not as simple and straightforward as I thought it would be. It is definitely not like shopping for clothes and non refundable either. For first time buyers like me, there is so much to learn and can be a headache as there are so many unfamiliar terms to get familiar with.
Tips for future virgin buyers, shop for the best home loan rates before deciding on purchasing your unit. This way it will make your life much easier once you book your unit as loan application requires time and it could pose a problem if your developer has a time limit for you to sign your S&P. If any of you is interested in the details, you are most welcome to contact me. I would be more than happy to share my the little knowledge I gained through my experience with you.
Anyways, at the moment, I am contemplating whether or not to get additional carpark as the unit I purchased only comes with one and I really hate to see visitor/owner 2nd car parked by the roadside. But it will cost me an additional RM10k. Ouch. Should I or should I not? But, whatever it is, I am looking forward to entertain you guys once I move in and to miss E, lepas ni kau x yah ridau nak tido mana bila turun KL from Penang sbb I will always have an additional empty bedroom for you..but katil x terjamin for the first couple of months..hehehe
