He's Gorgeous

So..so..so gorgeous. I saw him again today. Even more gorgeous than before. If only I knew his real name. I should really be googling his name. She said he's handsome but he looks much better than I have ever imagined him to be. It's definitely worth it to get the dvd if just to see "Fluke' Brandon everyday.. hehehe. (D, u're gorgeous too)

Confessions of a Shopaholic, I love the book so much. This movie is nothing like the book. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. Wonder if they're going to make a movie of the entire series.

p/s: Can't wait to watch Angels & Demons next. But before that, ladies...He's Just not That Into You?

Couch-ing

I practically live on my couch today. I have been extremely lazy, my goodness. But, it feels really really good. I did leave the couch for short intervals, among others to cook lunch which is also now my dinner, tuna spaghetti, hang my clothes and wash dishes. Even now, as I am typing this entry, I am sitting on my super comfy couch which I think has a permenant mark of my butt by now. The fact that it was raining the whole afternoon did not help much. I did plan on going for a jog this afternoon after many many weeks of not doing so. That didn't happen so I'm back to the couch.

Today alone I have maneged to watch a marathon of Britain's next top model, american idol and now waiting for AF7 and the Man U vs Liverpool match to start. I am not a real supporter of EPL but I'm watching to show support for a real supporter. Hope his team wins tonight. As for AF7.. I just feel like watching it. Don't judge me.

So, that's me, on my couch, watching Buletin Utama while blogging, eating dinner and trying to figure out how come my facebook is in BM now and thinking how to change it back to English. At the same time, thinking how bad I am at using Facebook and how I can get rid of my excess fat as soon as possible without having to diet or exercise..hmm

This and That

What's new with me? Apart from being short and fat you mean? I'm also extremely dark now. I mean really dark. So dark that I'm dreading looking at my face in the mirror. Hodoh ok. Thing is, not my entire face is dark. parts of it jer which are my nose and mouth area. Even the facial girl gave up trying to brighten my face. Yes, it is that bad. No, I did not go sun bathing by some beautiful beach getting a suntan. If only that was the reason. In a way, I did go sunbathing but at substations all over central area and Negeri 9 for many many weeks that no amount of sunblock could save my face and hands from burning. The last time this happened to me was when I started work and it is compulsory to attend OBS. Kerja oh kerja. I'm just so glad that the series of outdoor work would be ending soon. Hopefully then this ugly duckling can become a not so ugly duckling.

As a result of me getting the envious skin tone of the mat sallehs', I am now obsessing about skincare. It so happen that my moisturiser chose this time to finish. So I've been doing some research and asking around on what products to use. Everyone has their favourites. But, since I've used most of them before this, I decided to go for "skin food" product this time round. So far, I'm not loving it sbb dah pakai for one day and there is no visible effect. Kecewa ku sungguh kecewa. Agak-agak esok can see the difference or not?

So, I've been busy with work. Have not been keeping in touch with a lot of people. Sorry people. But, despite my busy schedule, sempat gak buat the following stuff:

1. Attended Tini's wedding. Masa tu muka dah start gelap but not that obvious. That was probably the first and last celebrity wedding I'm invited to. It was beautiful. Enjoyed the emcees very much. The one and only FBI and Rafidah 3R. Saw most Hot fm's deejays too. I think a few local artists were there too but I am not sure and I don't know their names. Hope she likes the wedding gift from Fairuz, Noris and me.
2. Went for the annually awaited hunt every year. The TCI hunt. Bumped into some old friends. Seems more people getting hooked to treasure hunt. Anyhows, this is definitely a memorable one for we beat the defending champion. It was even sweeter because it was a surprise. Last minute, one of our regular team member had to withdraw and we almost withdrew too. But, luckily we didnt because the food was good and the pool and slides at Tiara Beach Resort is just awsome.
3. Entered a bowling friendly tournament. This was a last minute decision too. You see, I'm more of a ratu longkang material so rasa rendah diri nak join. But then I saw they will be giving prizes to Ratu and Raja Longkang. So, why not? It turns out I'm placed with excellent bowlers as team mates (Arjurin, Puteri and her husband). Even better, they gave tips on how to bowl. I ended up making my best score to date 113 (Average selalu 60++). And..and my team won first place..hahaha dapat la tupperware satu plus rm10 Jusco voucher. Thank you everyone.
4. Layan SpaQ2 sepanjang outstationing kat N9. Macam x percaya jer but I ada saksi.
5. Jatuh longkang shoulder height deep. Sakit. Fortunately no witnesses nor major injuries except for very bruised wrist and one butt cheek. Had to sit senget sebelah for a few days sbb sebelah butt sore and feels bigger.

So, that's just about everything that I've been doing between the last post and this one. I'll probably disappear again for a while after this..so..laters...

Mondays...

I am not fond of Mondays. Pagi-pagi mesti tak boleh bangun. Then the roads are always extra congested regardless what time I leave my apartment. The recent decrease in petrol price definitely has its own drawbacks especially when it comes to traffic congestion. Was it just my imagination or are there more cars on the road of late.

Dah la kereta banyak, most motorcyclist pulak suicidal. I hate (I know hate is a very strong word but I do feel strongly about this) it when the motors lalu kat tengah-tengah jalan. Best place to see this is kat NPE. Dahsyat sungguh. Belum lagi yang berlumba-lumba and mencilok antara kereta yang tengah jam and cuba tukar lane. Nak kata they dah puas hidup, macam muda-muda lagi. If only semua jalan macam Federal Highway with seperate roads for Motors and Cars. Kalau ada separate lane utk lorries and busses and taxis lagi heaven. Even that motor2 ni nak jugak masuk lane kereta. Kalau lalu kat emergency lane tuh lain jugak. Ni berlumba and menciloks..ish gerammmnya.

Sometimes geram sangat sampai terdetik kat hati kecik, “Kalau accident motor nih baru padan muka dia”. Tak pasal-pasal tambah dosaku. Hahaha x pasal-pasal mengutuk org bawak motor. Percayalah that was not my intention when I started this entry. Must be my lack of sleep or rasa geram yang dah terpendam lama or I don’t know.

Conclusionnya, weekends are too short.

Internet

Susah nak access internet kat office nowadays. ICT div dah increase internet security level. Now everytime log on to internet, they will start a counter and display how long we have been using internet for that week. Ala macam kat internet cafe camtuh. Per hour we are given 30 hours to use the internet. Which is a luxury. Unfortunately, they block everything too. Yang paling menyedihkan is that they block my favourite webpage where I get my daily dosage of The Bold and The Beautiful. Hilang semangat nak keje everyday.

So now, seriously considering signing up for one of those mobile broadbands. Hari ni dapat pinjam Celcom broadband dari Mr Joon. TQ. So ni tgh test power kat rumah. So far so good. Next nak try maxis and izzi laks.

Almost An Uneventful Weekend

I started the weekend with no plans but to be a couch potato alone. But, on Saturday I got to couch potato with Nila. After hours of FRIENDS followed by an hour dose of Desperate Housewives, we went groceries shopping for hours. Syokk

Sunday, Hannah and her baby Fatini finally made it to my humble home. Lepak macam dulu-dulu. What a bliss.

Weekends are always too short for me.

Junk Keeper

That I am. Hari ni pun x berapa rajin nak keje so I thought I'd do some spring cleaning. After 5 minutes it hit me that I am a super junk keeper. I keep everything. Really. Patut la I'm always running out of storage space, both physical and hard disk storage. Semua benda pun sayang nak buang. Yesterday, in my "attempt to being normal" direct quote from Mr Moshi Moshi, I found so many obsolete files in my thumb drive yg patutnya dah lama deleted but somehow still there. In no time I cleared 1GB of junk from the 4GB ibujari. Wait till I clear my desk and my pc...

Btw, dah official that starting 1 December I can go home at 5.15p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and 5 p.m. on Fridays. Perhaps I can re-consider that little part-time project of mine after all.

Kebaya

Hari ini saya pakai kebaya kerana saya rasa saya kurus sedikit setelah bersenam semalam. Semalam saya bermain badminton bersama rakan-rakan pejabat. Best. Tetapi, setelah bersarapan nasi lemak (Mia belanja), saya rasa dah gemuk balik. Terasa sia-sia bersenam semalam. Tapi nasi lemak tu sedap. Tapi nasi lemak malam tadi kat Darussalam, Subang Jaya lagi sedap. Saya tidak makan nasi lemak malam tadi, tapi saya "pow" nasi lemak orang lain sedikit. Malam tadi saya makan tosai rawa onion. Tosai itu sedap juga. Sekarang rasa nak makan steamboat kat Restoran Yuen, Sunway. Kena cari kaki untuk makan steamboat.

Berbalik kepada cerita badminton. Saya rasa semalam saya tidak jadi badut sangat seperti biasa. Sebaliknya saya rasa saya rock. Tapi saya rasa tangan saya besar sebelah sebab main badminton. Tangan atas kanan la sebab saya bertangan kanan (right handed). Hari ini saya berazam untuk menggunakan tetikus menggunakan tangan kiri. Adalah diharapkan ini dapat menyeimbangkan saiz tangan atas saya selepas ini.

Hari ini saya tidak ada gambar untuk dikongsi. Nanti kalau saya jumpa gambar menarik saya letakkan di sini. Sementara itu, apa kata anda semua jawap soalan ini. Ada berapa tapi dalam karangan saya hari ini? hehehe

Malas

It's that time of the year again when I malas nak kerje especially now that the bosses have started to take turns taking holidays. Think I should be taking a break myself. Unfortunately, I can't really afford to because

• cuti tinggal 2.5 days -and I will need that for raya haji and hari2 terbangun lambat
• financial constraint-whenever I managed to save enough money for a holiday I ended up spending it on something big - this time it's called laptop
• don't really know where to go to plus going anywhere now requires permission now that I am back in Malaysia. Don't really enjoy the questionnaire questions whenever I say "I think I want to go....". Really miss going for impromptu getaways.
• rugi la coz it's school holidays and everywhere is packed and costs more and this is the best time to drive to work sbb jalan kosong! If only everyday is a school holiday

Actually, I woke up late this morning. Almost 7. Somehow, my brain managed to block the sounds of my alarms (all three of them) and I continued sleeping. Bangun panik and rushed to work (after showering -of course!). All the way to the office, thinking what excuse I can possibly give for coming in late for work masa school holidays ..none. Even considered half day. Nasib baik cuti sekolah. punched in at 7.58 am, just two minutes to spare. Eventhough they dont chase us with the borang kemaskini anymore these days, I still don't feel right to arrive late especially since I plan to leave on time today after three days in a row going home after Maghrib. Rajin betul kubekerja. I find that those hours after everyone balik is the most productive time for me to do work, real work yg kena pikir e.g. write codes or run simulations.

I guess that's y i feel like I've worked for the whole week kut..hehehe.. At the moment, really looking forward to weekend. It's been a while since I really have a laid back weekend. Think I'll spend most of my time being a couch potato (ikut jejak langkah joe.jaffar).

And maybe Miss M who is back from Bali and/or Mrs H whom I hope will make it to my apartment before her daughter turns ten...ehehe and the other regulars

Thank God Raya is Over

This year's raya month was a busy one for me. Not complaining though. Every weekend was packed with open houses. Enjoyed every single one of them. Somehow, every week there will be one in Ampang area that I now know how to drive to Ampang area without having to use my GPS. Ate so much. Can't help it. Food was all great and super delicious. Missed one open house in Subang Bestari though, one that I really wanted to go to but could not.

Consequences:

1. Weight gain again, now almost back to before fasting month weight. Just look at picture below. This one was taken during my company's Majlis Mesra Aidilfitri.


2. Extremely exhausted. Not enough rest. It's not easy juggling time between loved ones, colleagues and friends. Not wanting to disappoint anyone.


3. Messy house. Just didn't have time to clean it. Proof, mom started commenting on how untidy the house the moment she stepped in. Aiyoh. Mental note: Must always clean the apartment whenever she's coming for a visit.

Finally, last weekend, I get to spend time for myself . By that I mean, going for a treasure hunt. Wah sudah lama x pergi. Sangat gian. It's only my third hunt for the year. super duper rusty. The last two times, my team did not win anything. We did not put up high hopes for this one either. Just wanted to have some fun. Organisation wise, very chaotic. Organiser definitely have to improve on that. But, I like the hunt questions. New breed I must say. Don't think many people could say the same.

Surprise, surprise.. we won something! Ok not top three but the cash reward was more that enough to send us grinning from ear to ear and put us in a very happy mode.

On the very same day, I spent the money for a painting. Prize money all gone now..sheeshh. Bila la nak pandai jimat cermat nih. Anyways, team kiterorg glamer because of this. Results of the hunt is posted here and here. At least I terasa glamer. If only dapat joint The Sun Hunt the very next day.

Sunday baru bangun lambat and lazed around. Then, while watching Fashion 70's (korean soap opera), slowly did some desperately needed cleaning and washing.

As for this weekend, will start with European Lingerie Warehouse Sale tomorrow...
